Dinner

Dessert is TBD.

Met up with Matt for a lunch ride to the Marina. We just rolled easy except during my 3x3 minute intervals where my average heart rate was 178, 181 and 179. He accelerated a few seconds early which gave me a nice rabbit to chase during the first half of the effort and then jumped in the draft as he eased up and let me pass. More of the same tomorrow (minus the intervals) and Emigration is tentatively planned for Friday.

where are the french fries?

You should talk your wife into letting you go to the XTERRA thing at snowbasin. heck, bring the fam. There's a kid zone with snowshoes and stuff like that.

That's dinner?!?! I suspect this is not Mark but some impostor! If dessert isn't something sweet and loaded with calories, my suspicion will be confirmed. :-)

I can't make the marina tomorrow, but I want to do Emigration - please tell me the ride will be after work as lunch will be more difficult for me.

tomato soup with grilled cheese . yum

Dessert was 5 or 6 pumpkin raisin cookies homemade with whole wheat flour, maple syrup, eggs and no sugar, oils or butter/margarine. Sounds boring but man were they tasty with a tall glass of cold skim milk!

Except for the raisins -- evil, foul things! -- the desert sounds yummy.

But I keep looking at that picture and viewed the expanded version. I hope that's just the side dish, you're lacking actual food on that plate1 :D

I thought you were healthy, that pasta looks like white flour.

JE - That was dinner though I did have two bowls.

Todd - I am healthy! However, you are correct, that is normal pasta. The taste of whole wheat pasta is a bit strong though I haven't given up hope of one day adjusting to the flavor.

If it makes anyone feel better, my lunch consisted of two cheddarwurst dogs from the gas station.

I'm pretty sure the buns were not whole wheat.

Speak not ill of the blessed raisin!

A true friend would bring such delicious cookies to share with his raisin loving fellow riders tomorrow (hint, hint) :-)

Mark, no ride for me on Friday. I've been called to Logan for some urgent work stuff.
