I was cheering you on when you got that thing close to 6000 rpms, but alas, back down to 3 you went. Good thing you dont race mountain bikes like you drive motorcyles or evan fat guys like me would school you.
First track day + borrowed bike = very conservative riding. It was still fun and even though the revs are low the CBR1000rr still pulls hard in 3rd. I'll post a video of the owner's fastest lap so you can how the bike was meant to be ridden.

Very cool you got to do that. Fun to watch that super smooth tarmac go by. What was your top speed?
