Hello, my name is Mark and I am a dessertaholic.
After consuming 4 cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting today at work and leaving the office with a slice of chocolate cake to eat later tonight I am beginning to realize I may have a problem.
For as long as I can remember I've been a recreational user of desserts. However, this past month I have become a full blown junkie. Looking back I realize the problem was largely one of my own making. You see, by his own addmission
Mark A. is a ski and bike junkie, but what he doesn't tell you is that he's a dealer for one of the
region's most accomplished suppliers of edible controlled substances. Offering products such as chocolate chip cookies, chocolate brownies, chocolate cake, chocolate pie, cinnamon rolls and cinnamon cookies it's easy to understand how I moved from recreational to hardcore user so quickly.
I'm so far gone that instead of redeeming his offer of a
free supply of diet coke for a year, I renegotiated for a year's supply of free dessert.
I need help...

you and andy need to get together and start a support group. he can't go for 5 mins after a meal without his 'cleanse the palate' piece of chocolate. he gets mad when the only resemblance of dessert in the house is yogurt!
OMG, I linked on to that site and immediately left it...how can you drag me into your dirty addiction without any warning?!
I am a self proclaimed dessertaholic for many many years. I thought I was off my junk, but now.......,
You better switch back to the diet coke while you still have a little willpower left. How can anyone resist such temptation?
Holy snap! that pie looks delicious. I nearly licked my monitor. I must admit I'm a dessertaholic as well. Nearly the one thing that gets me more is good old cereal. Mainly Reeses Puffs and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
The only solution is to ride at least 10 hours a week. Winter is a time of weight gain simply because there isn't enough daylight to burn that many calories.
When you say, "I need help" and then post a picture of something you've tried (the cookie) followed by something you haven't (the pie), I'm wondering if you mean "I need help getting free of this addiction" or "I need help because I don't know how to make this pie and it looks really good."
Thanks for the compliment, I think. :)
Rachel - I don't know if Mark has told you yet (seeing we're still a few months out...) but I've already invited your family over for a bbq this spring and asked that you contribute a chocolate pie to the meal. That picture is driving me crazy!
Oh, and I ate the slice of chocolate cake last night. It was amazing. Seriously, that was probably the best chocolate cake I've ever had.
Dude! I've put on 12 pounds since Lotoja. I'm outta control!
