Salt Aire TT

Ouch! According to my computer: 18:20 at an average heart rate of 182. Compared to the guys with real tt bikes that really sucks. But given that my goal wasn't to compete so much as do a killer interval I'd classify the evening as a success.

Though I should mention that I did feel totally out of place without a tt bike, aero bars, deep section wheels, tt helmet, etc. Where were all the other Revolution guys/gals? Talk about feeling out of your element!

Good for you getting out and mixing it up with the guys in the 'cool bikes' club.

In retrospect, I think I was closer to 17 minutes than 16. Maybe even a little over 17 for all I know. I clicked my start button a few seconds late and forgot to click stop until I had crossed the finish line and started the slow down. Then it automatically started up again somehow and it was in the 19 minute range when I look down to see how I did.

So I'm kind of guessing.

Regardless, I'm impressed that you two gave it a shot. As mountain bikers first, just getting out to try some speedwork is cool.

Dude, I have never even seen a 182on my HR monitor. Good effort. It has got to be tempting though right? Those TT bikes are so cool looking, I have wanted a rear disc since I was 15.

Ive wanted a disc wheel since h-ball and john thomac. Of course its for something different. You could always buy a clamp on bar to help out. I might even have an older bar you can check out.
